Only available in very limited quantites, these fantastic blankets are brought to us from a woman who has been involved in Guatemala solidarity work for the past fifteen years, with experiences ranging from being a human rights observer in a returned refugee village to being on the board of The Network in Solidarity With the People of Guatemala. www.nisgua.org This item is handcrafted from women's cooperatives and small scale family run businesses. This is not charity. These are mutually beneficial partnerships based on respect, dignity, and transparency. The textiles produced in these cooperatives provide financial stability to their families and villages.

Blankets are 100% acrylic and are cold water washable. Hang to dry. Due to the nature of the dying process, washing separately for the first cleaning is recommended.
